The Oklahoma Ambassador for the Goods, a program of the Greater Good Charities

Two Legs Four Paws was formed in 2019 by founder Edy Bauer. We are an organization dedicated to feeding homeless animals. We have teamed up with the Greater Good Charities GOODS Program as the ambassador for the state of Oklahoma. This partnership allows us to provide pet food and other pet supplies at a low cost to rescue organizations and pet food pantries throughout the state. Everything we provide to these rescues is donated by amazing donors such as PetSmart Charities, Purina, Chewy.com and more. Thanks to the generosity of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, we have a hub for distribution days. The Regional Food Bank hosts the interception and storage of these donations and also helps our team with distributing to approved rescue groups.

Our Story

Helping Pets for Over a Decade

Two Legs Four Paws officially started in 2019, but we have been helping pets in need since 1996. Shortly after founder Edy Bauer adopted her rescue collie from a shelter here in Oklahoma, she began volunteering for animal rescues and also started therapy dog training. Through this experience, Edy saw a great need for help in the animal rescue community.

In 2011 Edy had the opportunity to oversee the donations coming to Oklahoma through the GOODS, a program of the Greater Good Charities, and in 2019, the official organization of Two Legs Four Paws was born. Since 2019 we have gained over 60 approved animal rescues, trap-and-release (TNR) groups, and pet pantries across the state of Oklahoma who regularly receive pet food and pet supply donations.

What We Do

Making A Difference for Animals

Donations received through our organization are used towards grant requests from our approved rescue groups, for food assistance, special projects, and medical needs. We are proud to serve our animal rescue community here in the state of Oklahoma and are passionate about helping animals in need. As a partner of the Greater Good Charities GOODS Program, we receive and distribute pet food and pet supplies to approved animal rescue organizations in the state of Oklahoma.

We also partner with the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank! Thanks to their generosity, we are able to use their warehouse and equipment to facilitate food deliveries to rescues in need.
